The South Pacific Tourism Exchange returns to Nadi, Fiji, from 5 to 6 May 2027, bringing Pacific tourism businesses and destinations together with international buyers for two days of focused trade engagement.
SPTE 2027 will form part of a wider week of tourism leadership, industry discussion and business development, creating one of the Pacific’s most concentrated tourism trade programmes.
The week will begin with the Pacific Tourism Organisation Board meeting on 3 May, followed by the SPTO Industry Day on 4 May. SPTE will take centre stage on 5 and 6 May, before the Fiji Tourism Exchange continues the trade programme on 7 and 8 May.
Holding SPTE and the Fiji Tourism Exchange consecutively gives international buyers the opportunity to connect with tourism businesses from Fiji and across the wider Pacific during a single visit.
For buyers, this means greater access to destinations, products and new partnerships without the additional time and cost of separate trips.
For Pacific sellers, SPTE provides a dedicated regional marketplace to present their products directly to international travel partners, strengthen existing relationships and develop new business across key source markets.
The combined programme also creates additional opportunities for National Tourism Organisations, tourism operators and industry partners to exchange market insights and build stronger regional connections.
SPTE brings the diversity of the Pacific tourism industry into one business environment.
Participating sellers represent destinations and tourism experiences from across the region, including accommodation, tours, cultural experiences, transport services and other visitor products.
Through scheduled business appointments and networking opportunities, international buyers can meet directly with Pacific tourism businesses, discover new products and expand their regional portfolios.
For sellers, the event provides direct access to travel partners with an active interest in developing and selling Pacific tourism experiences.
SPTE 2027 will build on the strong trade engagement achieved during the 2026 event, continuing its focus on productive appointments, regional visibility and practical business outcomes.
Returning to Fiji also provides strong international connectivity and access to a broad range of tourism products, supporting an efficient trade programme for participants travelling from across the Pacific and key global markets.
With SPTE and FTE brought together in one week, May 2027 will provide a major platform for Pacific destinations and tourism businesses to strengthen their international market presence.
