Seller Selection Criteria

To be considered as a participant at SPTE 2024, you must demonstrate to the Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) that you meet the Seller Selection Criteria and provide any necessary supporting materials that maybe required. SPTO will review your submitted registration and assess whether you meet the Seller Selection Criteria before you are formally confirmed a space to participate.

All products and experiences, National Tourism Organisations and Industry Associations registering to participate at SPTE 2024, must demonstrate in their registration that they comply with each of the following selection criteria. SPTO reserves the right to waive any of these criteria at its discretion and/or amend or reject any product or experience, which is inconsistent with the criteria.  

  • Tourism as the main focus of your business
  • Must be a registered company paying applicable taxes in host country
  • The ability of your product to be booked and commission paid at the appropriate industry levels, relevant to the distribution system employed
  • Confirmation from the relevant National Tourism Organisation (NTO) as to whether your product or experience is appropriate for the event.
  • Availability of relevant wholesale and retail rates for your product or experience available by the start of SPTE 2024
  • Endorsement and approval by respective NTO to the seller registration to participate at SPTE 2024
